Do you know what Manitoba offers when it comes to solar panel incentives?

Manitoba has a Net Metering program as well as direct financial rebates through Manitoba Hydro. When it comes to Net Metering, power from systems with 200 kW of capacity or less is purchased at the standard residential rate. For systems larger than 200 kW, a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) must be negotiated.

When it comes to direct financial rebates, Manitoba Hydro offers the following:

• $1 per watt installed capacity.

• Incentive is paid at the end of the project.
